Anti-Nightvision camouflage
July 10th 2010 -
A demonstration video about the “Ghost” camouflage technology by german company Texplorer GmbH (Now Blücher Systems GmbH) Developed in cooperation with the german army , this material reduces the thermal signature of soldiers and vehicles and is additionaly hard to spot on rest-light intensifiers aswell as rest-light multiplicators. It is also available as sheets to cover thermal hotspots of vehicles like tanks. In combination with conventional camouflage measures (camo nets) it is possible to successfully conceal vehicles such as tanks, trucks, planes and helicopters on ground or airborne FLIR imagery and other night vision optoelectronic devices. The material is machine washable. Website : www.bluechersystems.com PS : It also protects you from all kinds of blood sucking insects.
They just cant see you anymore

The first “black & white” parts are thermal imagining, the most commonly used by militaries. It usually has two modes: from black to white, or from White to black. The colorful heat vision stuff are mostly used in the movies to give it that cool look.
The rest of the videos are regular light intensified NV sights of different generations and technologies. Many militaries around the world have added the infrared-stealth element to their BDUs, making the uniform blend naturally to environment.

Really useful, but .
a) Are there any restrictions for international sale?
b) Do you have to be steady to make it work or how much movement will void it?
c) Will it fool the 4th Gen FLIR too? ( Which is now a combo of NV and T.V ) .

.
Well for a start it doesn’t work in normal daylight…and at night in the desert it can get very cold indeed…so a suit like that would be very welcome.
